Sorry - wherever I put this information so I didn't lose it, I lost it.

I got a recommendation for this from a friend who does IT for political
campaigns. Actually, IIRC theirs is a 3rd party hosting service, so it
might answer Cris's comment but not your question. Hopefully it's in my
Inbox at home - if so, I'll post it in the morning either way.

A dashed good point my man, a dashed good point! Take care out there kids!
:-)
I may even see if it makes more sense overall creating the content and
list and seeing if an external body will do the mailing side... kinda
takes away from the usability of the overall set-up that way however...
Thanks,
David

don't have any specific experience with any apps, but one thing you need
to be careful about, is that if you try to send to large numbers at a
time...you'll most likely get tagged as a spammer and risk being
blacklisted
Find something that will allow you to schedule the emails and make small
lists

Hi all,
Wee bit off-topic here but thought I'd see what recommendations if any
others had for email newsletter software?
In case its of any relevance, we have Microsoft CRM Small Business
Edition installed in our SBS2K3 Premium set-up but to be honest we
haven't had enough time to do any real setting up or playing with this
to date.
Ideally, we want something that will tie in with our central contacts
database which is currently in an Exchange Public Folder and that we
can use without having to train to become rocket scientists! :-)
Look forward to any pointers others may be able to give and any
experiences good or bad you may wish to share.
Cheers,
David
