Hello,
Previously we have been successful when updating the firewall configs (which
requires you to rerun the internet connection wizard which is fine) to open
new ports for new services provided but recently, when we set up the firewall
in the wizard and then continue to the point where it starts running the
configuration, it completes all steps (Network Config, Secure Web Site
Config, Email config) but fails on firewall config with error "An error
occurred while configuring component." I click ok so it with continue but, I
don't know how to resolve the firewall issue. The event logs (application and
system) do not have any errors or warnings about this. The only thing that
has changed on the system is we added a RAID 1 configuration (hardware) to
the system. That is about the time this started happening. We also have not
seen any other issues at all. This is the only one. We have already tried
running the SBS 2003 wizard from Add/Remove programs to try to remove and
install the SBS components again to see if that are corrupt. they remove fine
and install again fine with no errors but the issue remains. We have since
tried terminating the RAID 1 config, setting the system back to the way it
was before raid, and the issue remains.
Any ideas?
