Re: Using office 2007 with WSS

Are you saying you are opening the Office 2007 documents from WSS with Ofice
2007? Or are you opening Office 2003 documents with Office 2007 which causes
the problem? Mine's working fine

Hi ,

I have WSS 2.0 with Service pack 2 and WSS 3.0 installed on a
SBS2003R2. My client uses their company web a lot and upload
attachments like excel and word files.

When opening a office document using Office 2003 they can edit and
save the changes in the document back to the company web. Nut when
they try and do the same thing in Office 2007 it will only open as
read only and hence no changes can be saved.

I followed the instructions as per this article
http://uksbsguy.com/blogs/doverton/archive/2007/03/13/how-to-get-companyweb-windows-sharepoint-services-v2-to-work-with-office-2007.aspx

But it still wont work.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Sean
