One NIC with a hardware router to the internet.

This SBS system was working correctly for about a month. I am not sure

I did the base install when I was connected through a router to the
ethernet.

Since I was not sure what order I had installed the updates, I decided
to
uninstall the updates and service pack and try re-running SBS setup
again.
Unfortunately, after uninstalling the service pack, the server
continuously
reboots. I think I something in the KB about this, so I am going to
look
for
it. I will keep you posted.

Did you complete the SBS Integrated Setup install before you updated

server with any MS Security updates or Service Packs?

Turning off the Virtual Machine and re-booting the SBS did not clear
the
situation.

I had thought that DNS could be the problem so I deleted the VM from
both
the DNS and WINS databases in active-directory. This did not help
either.

I thought I might have found the solution. Somewhere in the KB,
this
forum
or the EULA, I read about not mixing the media between the dvd and
cd's
when
installing SBS. So, I did a reinstall of SBS using the suggested
method
of
selecting
"Change/Remove" on SBS in Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel.
This
seemed to work for about two days. Then the problem started again.

If I thout it would alleviate my problems, I would do a complete
fresh
install of SBS. However, I have already done this three times. I
might
just
go back to Windows 2000 server instead.
