Re: problems with server management not being able to display "bac

I right clicked on default web site and went to properties and then to home
directory tab and then configuration. All of the framework said was using
version 1.1.4322. Is this the right place to look and is this the right
version? Seems to be a permission problem or authentication. Asks for
localhost username and password and I don't know what account information to
put in there. Thanks!!

Hi Mike,

Can you check if the Default website in IIS is set to use .Net 1 and not
..Net 2?

if backup was working, you would see the log files in:

Something has happened to server management. I can no longer check on
backup
using server management. Ween I try and open page to view backup
status
it
displays that this program can not display web page. I also get this
when
I
chose monitoring and reporting. I have checked permissions on web
sties
in
IIS and have tried everything I can find on discussion groups, etc. I
have
received sporadic emails from monitoring and reporting and the email
just
says unknown host. Sometimes when I click on backup I am presented
with
user
name and password but every account i have tried does not work.
Everything
was working fine one day and the next day it develped this problem.
Can
not
tell if backup is running and no longer getting server usage and
performance
reports. I can access OWA with no problems and every othe part of
server
management works ok. Please help. Thanks!
Mike
