Hello Customer,
Thank you for posting here.
From the post, I understand you installed 3rd-party fax software "GFIfaxmaker" on SBS, after you updated ASP.NET, the software got CDO error.
This is a 3rd-party software issue. I still suggest you contact your GFI
software support to get further assistance.
Thank you for your understanding.
If there is anything else I can do for you, feel free to let me know.
Thanks and have a nice day!
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| I recently updated ASP.NET in order to enable RWW and be up2date in all
| angels, and ever since my GFI faxmaker generates a CDO error:
|
| â??The transport failed to connect to the server.â?? Solution: This error
| occurs if you specified that SSL has to be used but the server is not
| configured for use with SSL. Disable SSL or configure SSL on the mail
| server. This error also occurs if the IP address of the mail server has
| not been specified correctly, or the connection is being blocked by a
| firewall or by the mail server itself. Check firewall settings and check
| whether incoming connections from the FAXmaker server are allowed. I
| called GFI and they tried helping but no luck.
| Anyone can help me?
