Given you have only one NIC I assume that ISA is not installed - right?
Give this a try....
First make sure that the Admin has a mailbox and has the postmaster address
assigned as well.
Open the routing and remote access console, right-click on the server and
select disable routing and remote access.
Rerun the CEICW and see if it succeeds this time.
If it still fails, go through the logfile again and see if you notice any
other errors.

Give us some more info. What version of SBS (2003, 2003R2, Standard,
Premium, 1NIC, 2NIC, ISA)?
Post an ipconfig /all from the server and describe your network
infrastructure.
Post the portion of the log file where you see the errors.

Hi all,
hope someone can lead me in the right direction - I've spent all day on
this
and still no results.
The problem is when I ren the wizzard it fails at the email config.
I've
check the log and I'm seeing an error around RegisterMSBOExchangeBP.
After
some reasearch I've deleted and created a new Admin mailbox and rerun
the
wiz
- same error. I then reinstalled the server components and re-run,
same
error. I've checked and double check all settings etc and just can't
find
the issue.
Anyone any ideal please!!! ??
PS> I can resolve the RWW and Exchange from inside the domain but not
from
the Internet. Interestingly I can also ping the box however cannot
Remote
onto it but can remote onto another box within the domain. I have full
Internet access from within the domain also.
Thanks
.
