We are installing new hardware for our SBS 2003 so are considering upgrading
to R2.
We have 25 users constantly using SQL Server, it currently consumes about
1.7 gb ram.
We are soon to install a remote office server using SQL Transactional
Replication, for which I understand 2005 is better.
I would like to ask how many of you have taken the plunge for 2000>2005 and
have you found yourself restricted by the Workgroup Edition Limits?
Many vendors support their DB on 2005, but not as many support the
conversion from 2000 to 2005 - check with your vendor.
