I have a client that is interested in using the new Blackberry 8830 as
they travel between Israel and the USA regularly. I know that this
phone is new on the market, but I would like to find out if anyone has
any reason not use a Blackberry (of any model) with SBS 2003. I see
on the BB site that I can get the BB server software for SBS but I
have never heard of anyone using this solution. Does it work? If so,
how well does it work? Is it difficult to setup etc..( The usual
questions...)
Thanks
Terry
Why not use a Smartphone or a Windows Mobile enabled PDA? You can get
them
working with SBS 2003 in minutes!
Have you got a link for the Win Mobile enabled PDA? I was cosidering
getting a new Windows PDA Phone and don't want to use a BB, but would
like to be able to send/recv emails via my phone - thanks.
I'm not sure where you are based and so I'm not sure this would be available
to you, but we use O2 XDAs - http://www.my-xda.com/
Any HP or Palm device will do the trick though.
Thanks - I was looking at those devices on VerizonWireless.com and
wondered about the connectivity - I don't purchase anything except voice
communication and voicemail, didn't get web/data service on my plans.
I will contact Verizon and get more details.
Thanks for the link.
