Hi,
I am sorry for the delay.
I made deep research on the DCOM 10010 error, please
, please take the following steps:
Step 1: Please check the default access control list setting on the
%windir%\registration directory. You can found the detail steps in the
following KB:
Systems that have changed the default Access Control List permissions on
the %windir%\registration directory may experience various problems after
you install the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-051 for COM+ and MS DTC
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909444
Step 2: {D61A27C6-8F53-11D0-BFA0-00A024151983} presents NtmsSvr Class.
Please do the following steps:
On the SBS server:
1. Start => run => enter dcomcnfg => click "OK"
2. Click on compmnent services => my computer => DCOM Config
3. Select the " NtmsSvr " (This is the object for the class:
{D61A27C6-8F53-11D0-BFA0-00A024151983} and right click => Properties
Security => launch and activation permissions => give the "NETWORK SERVICE"
account full permission in the list.
Also it is recommended to give the NETWORK SERVICE account full access
permissions to the default DCOM permission on the computer.
(Rright click my computer in the CDOMCNFG console => properties =>. default
COM security => click on the edit default button in launch permissions =>
there add network service and give it full access) Programs that use DCOM
do not work correctly after you install Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Service Pack 1

More information:

Hope the information helps.
I am looking forward to hear from you.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)

<<Hi Tomasz,
<<
<<Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
<<
<<From your description, I know that you cannot disable the Removable
<Storage
<<and get error 1053. If I am base, please don't hesitate to let me know.
<<
<<Based on my research, the Removable Storage service is set to Automatic
by
<<default. Please check if the service is disabled on your system.
<<
<<To do this:
<<
<<1. Run services.msc command.
<<2. Double click Removable Storage. On the General tab, make sure the
<<Startup type is set to Automatic.
<<
<<Please take the following steps to see if the problem can be resolved:
<<
<<Step 1: Add the ServicesPipeTimeout value to
<<HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control and set it to 120000
<<
<<Step 2: The problem maybe caused by corrupted database. To resolve this
<<issue, use the following method to manually initialize an uncorrupted RSM
<<database.
<<
<<1. Please restart the server, now the Removable Storage is disabled.
<<2. Start Windows Explorer, open the %SystemRoot%\System32\Ntmsdata
folder.
<<Please rename this folder to OldNtmsdata
<<3. Restart the Removable Storage service
<<4. After the RSM restarts, it creates a new database.
<<
<<After above steps, please try to test your issue again. If the problem
<<persists, please help me collect the following information
