Hello!
Do the GoDaddy Turbo SSL certs work with SBS 2003 to allow access to
Outlook via RPC, RWW, and also for Smartphone?
Thank you!
Gregg Hill
Yes. (Smartphone trust list must include Godaddy or similarly capable)

R2 must be more restrictive than R1. I installed a GoDaddy cert this
way without renaming it. AHA! Another Microsoft Gotcha!

Hi Edwin,
Yes that is what I have done in my previous installs including this
one. However when I chose the file this way it didn't accept it. That is
when I renamed the extension and then it worked.

Couldn't you just click the Look for files of type dropdown and
select *.* then select the cert file? Or am I missing something. I
don't see the previous posts on this so forgive me if I'm clueless.

I was able to resolve my issue:
When you receive the file from Godaddy it is in a .crt file and
Windows is looking for a .cer. This has not been a problem for
my other servers except this one. I spoke with a Goddday tech
and he just said to rename the extension to what windows is
looking for. As soon as I did that everything worked.

Hi Jacky,
In reference to :
"Please create a new request, and request for a new certificate
from Godaddy(issue a new certificate),then install the new
certificate. Don't
use the old request and corresponding certificate file."
I have done that 3 times. I did not make any changes while
waiting for the cert which arrived within seconds of the request.

Hi John,
Thanks for posting here.
From the description, I understand the issue is that you get an
error when
you install the certificate issued by Godaddy. If I am off base,
please
don't hesitate to let me know.
Let us refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Please create a new request, and request for a new certificate
from Godaddy(issue a new certificate),then install the new
certificate. Don't
use the old request and corresponding certificate file.
if there were any changes made after the request and before
obtaining the
certificate - the issue may happen. So not to do any changes to
the server
before you get the certificate
from Godaddy.
