Thanks, LW. HTTP://SERVERNAME does work. But HTTP://LOCALHOST should work
and doesn't. I'd like to figure out the problem.

Hi,
SBS2K3/R2/Premium. New install. After installing ISA, workstations
can't connect to OWA using http://localhost/exchange or
http://l127.0.0.1/exchange. Trying either elicits a "Can't find that
page" message from IE. I CAN connect using
http://servername/exchange, and I can connect using
http://10.0.0.2/exchange. I have both 127.0.0.1/localhost and
10.0.0.2/servername entries in host and lmhost. DNS looks okay to me,
but that doesn't mean much. Other than this localhost issue,
connectivity between the workstation and server is fine; workstation
has internet access and can browse the server and print.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Localhost & 127.0.0.1 are the loopback address/hostname...meaning, that
isn't useful across the network. Try http://servername for all. Do not use
lmhosts - you have DNS. And you can't specify /anything in a hosts or
lmhosts file anyway.
