Hello Customer,
Thank you for kind update. I'm sorry for the delay. Jacky is taking long
leave and we are facing very high volume. Thank you for your understanding.
The Contacts in outlook is add from the GAL, if you add the same user
account from the email to the Contacts several times, you will find more
than one duplicate in the contacts. Another reason, the contacts in local
outlook is in fact store in the Exchange mailbox, if you change your
computer, the outlook will download the contacts from Exchange server, if
you already have a local copy, the contacts will be appear as two.
Hope the info help.
If there's anything else I can do for you, please do not hesitate to let me
know.
Thank you and have a nice day,
Best regards,
Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Thanks for the reply so long ago; I was out of contact and then the issue
| at my clients just seemed to go away.
|
| What you suggested sounds like an easy way to clean things up. It it
comes
| back I will use it. However, do you have any idea why something like this
| might occur. It happened with about 3-4 users at one account?
|
| Again, thanks
