This creates *.pst files. on the "old server" but I only can migrate *.pkl
files on the new?
just import the files on the workstations using outlook?

I think you were on the right track. Install exmerge on the old server
(don't forget the dll) and run step one of the two pass. This will create
PSTs for all the mailboxes. Make those PDFs accessable to your new server,
and run exmerge step two there.
One caution: it is easier if the PDFs generated have names that match the
login names on the new server.

When I use the migration tool form Exchange 2003 (on Small business
server 2003, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2 Build 6.5.7638) to
migrate mailboxes from a Small business server 2000 (Microsoft Exchange
2000 Server (a) build 6.0.4417) then I get the error message: Unable
to logon to the server. Please verify the server name, port, account name
and password.
I sure the user name and password are fine.
I'm not able to create a trusted domain in a small business server
Is there a way to migrate mail from the old to the new server?
