RE: Local client can not access internet

Hello Frank,

Thank you for posting here.

According to your description, I understand that you internal clients can
not access internet. If I have misunderstood the problem, please don't
hesitate to let me know.

First, please let me know, whether you can access the Internet from SBS? If
you can not access the Internet from SBS, you have to check the cable
router settings. Please contact your ISP for detail steps.

Based on my research, I suggest we try the following steps to see if we can
resolve this issue:

1. You have to rerun the CEICW to make sure your SBS 2003 server have right
network configuration. Go through the follow KB and Rerun CEICW again
carefully.

How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825763/en-us

2. Please disable the other network interfaces on client computer, only
leave one enable. Then test this issue.

If we can not resolve the issue after we perform the above steps, please
kindly help me collect some information for further investigation:

1. Please send me your network topology picture

2. Since you have get public IP 74.94.167.209 on SBS external interface,
why do you set the router internal IP as 192.168.0.5? How do you connect
your router and SBS?

3. Do all client computers can not access Internet?

4. Does the router support UPnP?

Hope these steps will give you some help.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)
