Hi Robert,
After trying the fixes below I now have a big problem as my OWA site has now
stopped working externally (I guess because the firewall rules in the CEICW
wizard could not be applied).
Thanks.
Scott.

Hello Scott,.
Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
From you description, I know that after you apply SP1 for SBS 2003 Premium,
RWW doesn't work and you get SBS.RWW Event ID 0. If I am off-base, please
don't hesitate to let me know.
Please let me know the following to make situation more clearly:
1. Do have Microsoft CRM on SBS server?
2. On the SBS server, run http://localhost/remote and http://IPof
SBS/remote, will the same issue reoccur?
3. Do other website such as Companyweb and OWA work fine?
Please take the following steps to see if the problem can be resolved:
Step: After you installed the SP1, did you rerun the CEICW wizard? This
helps us to configure the IIS setting correct.

2003

Step 2: All Windows Small Business Server Website and Virtual Directories
work only with .Net Framework 1.1 and are no support with 2.0. The reason
is that .Net Framework 2.0 installation broke SBS websites. At this point,
please take the following steps.
1. Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Management.
2. Expand Servername(Domain), Web Sites and Default Web Sites.
3. Right Click Default Web Sites, on the ASP.NET, select the version to
1.1.4322.
4. Do the same thing at the Remote virtual directory.
Now please check if the problem still occurs.
If the problem still exists, please kindly help me collect the following
for further research:
Collect IIS Metabase
1) On Exchange Server, install .NET Framework Version 1.1:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-
8157-034d1e7cf3a3&DisplayLang=en.
2) Install MBExplorer by installing IIS 6 Resource Kit Tools:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=56FC92EE-A71A-4C73-
B628-ADE629C89499&displaylang=en.
3) Once it is installed, access it from Start, Programs, IIS Resources,
Metabase Explorer.
4) In the left pane, right click ''LM'' (under your server computer name)
to choose ''Export to file'', and then save it as IIS.mbk.
5) Compress this mbk file and send it to me for analysis. Please let me
know the password if you set on this iis mbk file.
MPS Report
1) Download MPS report tool from:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd9
15706/MPSRPT_SETUPPerf.EXE
2) Run the MPSRPT_SETUPPerf.exe on the server box.
3) Wait for 10~15 minutes.
4) Open Windows explorer, navigate to
%SYSTEMROOT%\MPSReports\Setup\Reports\cab\
5) Send the .cab file to us.
Please send the information to v-robeli@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with

If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
