Help....
I have a client who used to be able to access his AOL email through his
Outlook program.
We have since upgraded the server to SBS 2003R2 premium with ISA 2004.
He is also using Vista and Outlook 2007 on this particular workstation.
I cannot get Outlook to access the incoming or outgoing AOL servers to
send
and recieve mail. I have tested Outlook 2007 on my non-SBS client to
access
AOL mail and that works fine.
I set up a rule is ISA per "How to uses Americal Online 9.0 with ISA
2004".
It still does not work. The error message says the it cannot connect to
the
incoming server. The other error message is that it cannot connect to the
SMTP outgoing server. I changed under "advanced settings" to use 993 for
the
incoming port which is what my working Outlook setting has and the
outgoing
port is 587.
Please help me. I have tried everything I can think of.
