Hi all, what do you want to sync?
Just looking for some recommendations here.
Client has an SBS 2003 Standard set-up. Without having the sense they were born with they've trotted off and bought 15 Blackberry's *before* speaking to us about it. Am advising them that they can use the Blackberry Desktop Software but that if they want real-time synching they'll need to go with BES or the Small Business Edition of BES. Seem to recall it either not being recommended or not supported being installed on the SBS box itself and that a separate box was the best practice.
Blackberry, for their part, seem to support it on the SBS box:

Any thoughts?
Thanks,
David
blackberries can do just emails without any servers required on your part. if you want the other stuff (contacts, tasks, calendar), then you need the BES server.
So, do you know what your users want? For 15 people, I'd just go with emails (no servers required) and have them sync their stuff to their desktops/laptops.
Good luck,
Oskar
