login credentials on non-domain PCs

I have a few users that I maintain in active directory and in Exchange, but their computers are not joined to the domain because they work elsewhere and some even have XP Home Edition. I recently updated the password policy to increase security without any problems except with these computers not joined to the domain. After the password change, they were unable to connect to the print server, connect to their mapped drives, etc. I thought these users would be prompted for their new passwords to reconnect to their network shares and printers, but instead, I had to delete all of the mapped drives and start over.
Is there a way to wipe out the login credentials XP stores about the mapped drives and a printer for a domain?
Any help is appreciated.
