The other option is a proxy server. You might be able to find a decent
free one around, but the only way to avoid a whole lot of problems is
to get a good commercial one. Our IT department fought with cheap
alternatives for way too long before management finally realized that
they were spending more in manpower and lost productivity as we tried
to get these things to work then it would have cost them to do it
right the first time. Cheap is not always cheaper, and free is never
free
