Re: Issue Installing R2 CD on Existing install

Hi Mark,

I made deep research on your MPS report. I found that the presence of the
Error Reporting installed before causes the failure. The installation
version 11.0.6401.0 of Error Reporting our SBS R2 setup wants to install
version 11.0.6558.0 which is newer but it fails to install because we
detect that the older version is already there.

It can be easily resolved by uninstalling version 11.0.6401.0 of the
Microsoft Application Error Reporting. If that shows in add/remove programs
you can uninstall it from there, otherwise you can use the Windows
Installer Cleanup Utility to remove it from the registry. Once that version
is removed, please rerun SBS R2 setup.
