Re: Installing ISA Server for first time

Hello Customer,

Thank you very much for sharing your resolution. I appreciate your time on
this post.

For the client connection limit, it is by default 160 after you install ISA
2004, you can increase the limits, or uncheck the "Limit the number of
connections" option.

I'm glad to hear that things are working correctly for you now. Please do
not hesitate to post in this great newsgroup if you need any assistance in
the future. I look forward to working with you again.

Thank you and have a nice day,

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)

| I finally got the adapter issue resolved. It turns out that when I

|
| So, just two days ago I reinstalled ISA Server SP1 as well as ISA Server
| SP2 and SP3. Again, I had connectivity problems with Exchange Server and
| I couldn't join workstations to the domain. That turned out to be an RPC
| Server/ISA Server interaction which was solved by disabling advanced RPC

|
| Oh, I might add that I remembered to make sure "All Users" were added to
| the conditons for the "SBS Internet Access rule". Additionally, I had to
| increase the client connection limits from 160 to 1000. I'm not sure why
| that was so, but I was getting connection limit exceeded every time I
| started up my newsreader.
|
| There you have it, Terence. I'd say this issue is closed if you have
| nothing to add.
|
| Thanks for all you have done.
