RE: Active Directory Repair indices

Thanks for upating.

Based on my research, during the startup period, the system will need to
perform several tasks such as loading service(s), drivers, preparing
network connection etc. As notification, the system will display a window
(see attachments). Once these preload operations have been done, the login
screen will appear.

More often than not it is because it is reindexing, but there are outside
conditions that could lead to this being true in non-indexing states. This
could be indicative of a failing storage system, controller, disk, etc. Or
you have probably a corrupted AD database.

Please try my suggestions and see if this can be resolved.

If that persists, please understand that our newsgroup is an issue based
service, meaning we usually respond to one question/issue per post.
Therefore, it is recommended you create a new thread so that the dedicated

<I'm having this same problem also. It happened about 6 months ago and
after
<completely wiping he hard disk and restoring a backup from well before the
<time it first happened, it still would not boot properly. I ended up
finding
<a corrupt USB driver. I only found that because after booting it 30 times
in
<attempting to restore it, I saw the trend that it booted fine with the USB
<hard drive disconnected.

<Well, now its happening again. However, its not as easy as a USB issue
