That was the piece of the puzzle I was missing.

https://mydomain.com/exchange goes to OWA

If I use just http:// it goes to the router login. Would there be another
port that needs to be open other than 443?

thanks alot

JJ

http://server.mydomain.net/exchange

http://ipaddress/remote

it takes me to the router sigin (username password)

I must need another port opened. I have port 23 for email

I will need to look into outlook over http

server is the server name internally. The name needed externally is
either
an IP address or a FQDN associated with the IP address of your
server.
Contact whover administers your server and ask him/her for the
address
you
need in https://address/exchange for OWA or better yet ask him/her to
set
you up for Outlook over http if you are using a Laptop

I tried to access https://server/exchange from the office network
and
OWA
came up and was able to log in. I thought everything was set.

I went on the road and tried https://server/exchange and a error
came
up
and
said it did not reconize server.

Is it my server or was it the computer I used that did not allow
this
to
work?

Let me know what other info you might need?

Thanks

JJ
