No. I'm sure they are well aware of it.
Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server is a special Core Modified cut of Windows Server specially modified to run SBS specifically and providing the core SBS restrictions (Must be root of forest, Single Domain, No Trusts, No Subdomains, 75 CALs etc...)
There is actually a SKU product of that Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server core as a standalone product that is locked to a maximum of 15 CALs.
Once you load Windows Small Business Server onto the Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server ( which you must do for the SBS version to run ) you have your - Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2
So, bottom line is it's a name game and the name you get will depend on the Component or "level" you are looking at.

I have a client that was having an accounting applicationa installed.
The vendor of the accounting application said their product does not work
with SBS 2003 R2.
I ran Winver from the run line the GUI shows
Microsoft
Windows Server 2003
for Small Business Server
We proceeded with the install and got everything up.
On a later date; I logged in and noticed in the 'Server Management'
("C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business
Server\Administration\LaunchConsole.exe") that the image in the top right
says:
Microsoft
Windows
Small Business Server 2003 R2
Should someone in MS be notified to update the graphic in WinVer?
