Thank you Henry for taking the time to help me out.
No I've tried that KB and it didn't work. Here is the exact error message;
maybe it will shine more light:
*****************
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Code: 502 Proxy Error. The login request was denied. The logon account
might have been disabled or logon information might have changed. Log on
again to verify that the information was typed correctly. If the problem
continues, report the problem to the administrator of the Internet server you
are requesting. (12015)
IP Address: 216.208.79.102
Date: 5/16/2007 5:35:16 AM
Server: MAIN.mobital.local
Source: proxy
***************
Seeing it seems to be a login error, I have tried to connect by appending
the username and password before the IP and I found out that I am able to
connect BUT I can not upload. Besides, if it is possible, I would much
prefer having the authentication window popup then appending usernames and
passwords for obvious security reasons.
Thank you.

Hello,
I am trying to access an FTP site that requires authentication. However I
receive an Error Code 502: Proxy Error. I am able to connect to some FTP
sites like ftp.microsoft.com, ftp.adobe.com, and ftp.symantec.com.
However
when I try some sites requiring authentication, I get the above error
code.
For instance the FTP site ftp://216.208.79.102 works perfectly outside our
LAN but on our LAN from the server and/or any client station, we get the
error code 502. We don't even get the authentication window. We get the
ISA
error message with the above error code.
I just installed a new server with SBS 2003 R2 Premium Edition.
I unchecked the Read Only checkbox from both rules in ISA 2004, that is,
the
'SBS FTP Access' rule and the 'SBS Internet Access' rule.
I tried connecting with 'Passive FTP' check/uncheck from my Internet
Explorer 7.0.
I am stumped!!
Your help in this matter would be most appreciated. Thank you.
