sbs 2k3 - certificate authority web server template - not being able to issue a certificate

good morning

i need to issue a web server certificate under my ca authority but i can
only issue basic efs or user certificates.
i have a csr file, issued by the linux box i need to access through isa, but
i get a message saying that the cert root is not trusted, so i figures if i
isses the certificate with my ca running on sbs, the certificate will be ok.
either using ca mmc or certreq, using the "certificatetemplate:web server" i
get an error saying that the certificate template is not supported by the ca
policy.

anyone can help me with this ??
many thanks
