I posted the following tonight in response to another thread with a similar
issue. That poster was getting the following error, which I think may be
similar to yours:

"Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller
is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not
found. Please try again later."

I'm wondering if resetting the secure channel between the workstation and
the domain controller will fix your issue:

netdom reset <machinename> /domain:<domainname>

Replace <machinename> and <domainname> with the real Windows XP computer
name and domain name.

According to KB article 216393, this command can be run from either the
domain controller (SBS server) or any domain workstation currently attached
to the network if you are logged in as a domain admin.

Yes I removed the wireless nic and tried using just the onboard nic, no
luck.
I tried installing a pci nic too, no luck.

Not there right now, but It states something like unable to connect to

network try establishing connection first or something like that.

Not familiar with EBD or EBCD... explain??
