I am running McAfee, not Norman, so this incident does not relate to
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/878497 at all as far as I know.
However, the symptoms are exactly the same. When a user attempts to
add an attachment to an email in Outlook Web Access, then the IS goes
down with event id 7031 and the following:
«The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service terminated
unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s). The following corrective
action will be taken in 0 milliseconds: Restart the service.» The IS
restarts.
Meanwhile, on the client browser, the OWA popup window that was
supposed to attach the file remains blank.
All client workstations and all browsers are affected, so that's
likely to be a problem in Exchange. It was working perfectly until
early April 07.
Any ideas?
