Hi bhaf,
If you've installed Windows Server 2003 SP2, either uninstall it or see the links below for some known issues:
Please refer to the following blog and KB article

I'm working on a test setup of SBS 2003, and I seem to be going backwards.
Actually, I hope it will be a live setup of SBS, but it is in test mode at
the moment on a separate network from our current production (Win2K) servers.
Here's the info:
SETUP
Our SBS server is running 2003 Premium R2 version with latest updates. This
has two NICs: an internal and an external. External NIC has one of our public
IP addresses and is connected to a SonicWALL Pro 2040 firewall that connect
to our ultimate gateway to the Internet. It is on DMZ port of SonicWALL in
transparent mode so SonicWALL just passes traffic through w/o NAT.
On our test network with the SBS server, I have a Win2003 file/print server
and a single workstation. At the moment, the workstation is not part of the
domain.
SYMPTOMS
Neither the Win2003 server or the workstation can open web pages except with
HTTPS protocol. Attempts to open HTTP pages result in "cannot find server or
dns error" page almost immediately. HTTPS works fine. The problem happens
both in IE and Firefox (w/different error message). The problem happens both
with internal sites (companyweb) and external sites. HTTP sites work fine
from the SBS server itself. The problem happens using both URLs and IP
addresses.
I can ping external and internal IP addresses, and DNS seems to be fine
(nslookup yields proper results). I have tried disabling the firewall (ISA)
but get the same results.
HISTORY
I set up this test network less than a week ago. I installed SBS 2003, then
Premium technologies, then R2 technologies. After working through a few
issues with the workstation (it had been on another domain before), I got
everything working: Internet access, companyweb access, Outlook, etc.
Then I updated the SBS server with various service packs and patches. I
installed the firewall client on the workstation and was doing some
experimenting when I had problems connecting to Exchange. I had RPC related
problems that I eventually fixed by disabling RPC filter in ISA.
I uninstalled one of the updates (when trying to solve RPC problem), but I
don't know if uninstalling all of the others will help or not.
QUESTION
Where do I look now? I'm assuming it has something to do with setup of SBS
server because both the other server and the workstation have the same
problem, and I didn't change anything on the server during this time. As I
said, I've tried even disabling the firewall, but that doesn't work either.
Help!
