Are you looking at burning CD's for your backups??
Thats not much space to do backups

For under 100.00 you can get 300GB external USB drive and do full backups

I didn't think the backup would, but does SBS have a cd-burning capability
(like XP, rightclick send to CD) to test the drive?

If you bought it separately...I'd call the software company

SBS backup will not natively back up to CD as far as I recall

Hi all,

New Dell server with CDR/DVD drive, SBS 2003 R2. Does SBS have native CD
burning capability? Device manager shows the drive correctly with no
issues, and it reads fine, but Yosemite backup cannot write a recovery
boot CD. Should I call Dell about the drive or Yosemite about the
software?
