Great!

Again thanks for the information, the server arrives today and should be set
for rollout this weekend.

I have a few SBS2003 books (MSPress and APress) i'm feeling confident.

Don't enable the pop3 connector until you get the server on-site, otherwise
it will pick up messages and store them on the SBS - the users will never
receive the emails until they are connected to the SBS.

Thanks for all the great info everyone, I'm defenitely going to try and
mimic
the on-site environment as much as I can and setup most things off-site.

One question that sticks out at the moment.

If I setup Exchange with POP account access (to essentially pull down the
emails from these accounts) how easy will it be when I get onsite to
switch
things over to exchange without pop accounts (mail delivered directly to
exchange)? Once I get onsite I have a static IP address ready and backup
mail
services (provided by zoneedit BTW very inexpensive for this feature if
anyone else is weary about running thier own exchange server as I was), so
i
should be able to route mail to the server w/o much problem.

I have no experience with Exchange so any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks again for all the information

I agree, we've setup dozens of SBS 2003 (Prem/Std and R2) here in the
facility and shipped them out to customers, we even have them ship the
workstations, UPS, network switches, firewalls, etc... We build,
configure, test, install apps, then ship to their site, they have a
low-level grunt follow our setup directions and it's all up on short
order, we don't even have to go onsite most times.
