Re: Account Lockout

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hello:

You don't have to pay. Just put in the event id and the source. Then click
on the "details: comments and links". What you don't get without a
subscription is click through to the MS KB for example.

Sorry, by the way, i forgot to tell that my server (SBS 2003) only runs on
one NIC. I've also been to the "eventid.net" website and checked the event
id
but sadly, you have to pay to be able to view the solution.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with Account Lockout
issue. I've been getting this error message for a while but have put it
aside
because the user whose account being locked out, hasn't come complaining
about it. However, today i was trying to add another printer to her
laptop
thru the "add new printer wizard". I could get it up to where the server
is.
Then when trying to expand the tree by double-clicking on the server,
nothing
happen. I couldn't get the list of printers from the server. I suspect
that
this might be due to the account lockout. Because all the other staff
have no
problem adding new printer to it via the wizard.

I wonder when you got that error message, why the user still be able to
access to the server as if nothing happens. But i got this error on the
server.

How do i solve this? anything i can do here to troubleshoot this issue?

Thank you in advance
