I've moved my SBS 2003 install to my new hardware, now everytime I try to
run
a wizard I get an application error event 1000. Although everything seems
to
be working properly. My big problem in that I need to transfer my
licenses
from my old server to my new server, but cannot because the transfer
wizard
(transfer.exe) throws the application erroe. I've tested my exchange and
my
remote access and all is working. I just can't get more that 5 users
logged
in until I get me license transfered. I really don't want to erase and
start
again. Even ICW throws the application error.
Here are the steps to took to move to the new hardware:
1) installed from cd
2) setup static op on LAN card
3) DCPROMO on new server
4) Made new Server GC
5) Remove GC from old server
6) Transfer the FSMO roles to new server
7) Move Site Licenses Server to new server
8) Continued integrated setup of SBS
9) moved exchange data
