RE: Client can't see another client



Hi John,

Thanks for posting here.

From the description, I understand the issue is that client A cannot access
shared drivers/printers on client B. If I am off base, please don't
hesitate to let me know.

Before we can go further,Please let me know how do you access the shared
resource,by network neighbour or UNC path?

It is really weird,Please go to client A
1.run \\ip of B client,what's the result?

2.ping ip of B client,what's the result?

I suspect it is most likely due to the wrong name resolution on client A.

If you can access by IP address,Please run the following command on client
A.

Ipconfig/flushdns
Ipconfig/registerdns

If issue persists,Please run Ipconfig/all >c:\ipconfig.txt on both client A
and B,and send me the two txt file at v-jaluo@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
