Are you talking about Drive Imaging because thats the only way you could move it successfullyCorrect, we used Acronis True Image to make a copy of the OS. The method we used was we loaded SBS off of the old drives connected to the old controller. Windows then sees the new controller, we added the drivers, then the drives. Then we made a disk image of the SCSI drives which had SBS installed, "restored" the image to the new logical SAS drive, and rebooted. When we rebooted the server, we select which controller to use. Previously the Proliant used the Adaptec card, now we selected the Smart Array card, and loaded Windows.
It was in the process of re-creating the new SAS logical drive that it became drive 1. Basically what happened was we deleted the original logical drive which was (0) and recreated it. When it was deleted, the 147GB data drives then automatically moved up in order to become drive (0). When the new logical drive was made, it was labeled by SBS as drive (1).
