I slipstreamed the Windows Small Business Server R2 Setup CD I
received together with our new server H/W.
Just to understand your first reply: when you say "They are two
completely different products.", how can I then end up with "Windows
2003 for small business" on my server when I do the install from a CD
that is clearly labelled "Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2"?????
Cheers,
OLiver
That is rather strange outcome. Then again SP2 is a barrel load by itself.
Slipstreaming into a SBS setup is pulling both triggers on a double barrel.
It's been shown that applying hotfixes to SBS should only be done after the
completion of the full SBS installation. Intermediary patching most always
results in trouble. SP2 on SBS is trouble by itself.
