Robert,
Thanks for your answer.
I have had only one user try to send email to this domain. We use Outlook
2003 and Exchange Server (Small Business Server 2003). Also, this same user
has had problems emailing AOL accounts several times. Other than that we
have not had any problems emailing other domains.
I will see if we can contact this individual at the domain listed above and
see if they can contact thier system administrator to see why they might not
be able to receive emails from our Domain.
Thanks,
Steve Aldridge

Hi Sdald,.
Thanks for posting in our newsgroup.
From your description, I know you cannot send e-mail to Blackshare-env.com
and get the following message:
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server.
Please contact your system administrator.
<mail.powerservice.com #5.5.0 smtp;550 authentication required>
If I am off-base, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Please let me know the following to make the situation more clearly:
1. Did all users encounter this problem or only specific users?
2. How do the problematic user send and receive e-mail, via Outlook or OE?
Based on my research, this issue will appear if the recipient''s server is
configured to only accept connections from hosts using Authentication.
If you use OE, please check the following:
1. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
2. Click the current user account.
3. Click Properties.
4. Click the Servers tab.
5. Under Outgoing Mail Server, click to select the "My server requires
Authentication" check box.
Please contact the recipient''s server's administrator to check the
following:
1. On the Windows taskbar click the Start button, point to Programs, point
to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager
2. In System Manager dialog box, expand the Servers container, expand the
Protocols container, and then expand the SMTP container.
3. Right click Default SMTP Virtual Server, and in the Properties dialog
box, click the Access tab.
4. In the Access dialog box, under Access control, click the Authentication
button.
5. Under Select acceptable authentication method for this resource, click
to select the Anonymous Access checkbox£¬ Basic authentication, Integrated
Windows Authentication, and then click OK.
Hope this helps.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
Robert Li(MSFT)
