Terence,
Thank you for your interest in my issue. I know I should apply the SBS 2003 SP1, but is it neccesary to first remove other service packs like Exchange Service Pack 2 and other updates that may have been applied since the release of SBS 2003 SP1, or can I just run SBS 2003 SP1 update now, even though many updates have passed?
Thank you again
Chris

Hello Chris,.
Thank you for posting here.
As we know, we recommend customer install all update and service pack for all Microsoft products except special necessary. The update and the service pack will make your system safer and more powerful. Therefore, it is recommended to install SBS 2003 sp1 on your SBS 2003.
I suggest you go through the following documents to install SBS 2003 sp1:
Service Pack 1 for Windows Small Business Server 2003, Standard Edition
http://download.microsoft.com/download/d/5/b/d5be2c2c-b1cb-47f8-9235-8cf8982

Installation Instructions for Service Pack 1 for Windows Small Business Server 2003, Premium Technologies
http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/e/9/2e902d14-da2e-43ba-8bd6-6d258f5
356b6/SP1Setup_prem.htm
After you install SBS 2003 sp1, then you can try to install Windows 2003 sp2 on your SBS 2003 sp1 server.
If you have any questions or concerns related to this issue, please let me know.
Thanks and have a nice day!
