Here is my problem.
My company is adding an off-site warehouse. This site may be just a
couple buildings down, or on the otherside of town. I need to get a
server of there to make a connection to our ERP system. I will be
upgrading a W2K server soon and plan on putting that over there.
Basically I need a way to connect this server to our SBS 2003
network. There will not be a heavy load on it, just a few small
apps. Is there a better way than creating a permanent VPN
connection? This is the first time I have delt with an offsite
connection. Cost is definatley a factor, so the cheapest way to get
it done right is what I am looking for. The main thing is I need a
secure, dependable connection.
Please help! Thanks ahead of time to all you guru's.

VPN is one option; a leased line (point to point) is another. The latter is
far more reliable and you'll get an SLA from the provider, but it's going to
cost more. VPN between two compatible routers/firewalls is the way I'd go.
