RE: sbs server 2003 install problems

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Hello Customer,

Thank you for posting here.

From the post, I understand your server hung when you install OEM version
SBS 2003 R2 on it.

I'm sorry we do not support OEM version SBS in the newsgroup. The OEM
version is designed for specify hardware, and there are many features added
by OEM manufacturer. Therefore, please contact your OEM vendor support for
further assistance.

Note: An OEM version must be installed on the hardware provided by the OEM

I hope the information above is helpful.

If there is anything else I can do for you, feel free to let me know.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Best regards,

Terence Liu(MSFT)

| Hi, I'm trying to install an oem version of sbs 2003 r2 on a new server
| (intel dual XEON) epox MB. I install OK, till I get to the install SP1
where
| it seems to go all the way then hangs. I tried several times and once I
got
| to disk three before it hung, what should I do to get it up and running?
I
| don't have access to internet yet so I can't get any updates or what ever
I
