Windows Server 2003 SBS R2 default web site messed up after Sharepoint 3 upgrade

OK,
I made a mistake when I was upgrading to SharePoints 3 and now my
default web site doesn't work anymore. The mistake I made was that I
clicked finalize upgrade before I moved the default web site. So now
the default web site doesn't work anymore.
To make it a little more fun I tried to fix the problem by removing
the default web site from IIS. I thought I could add it back using
the sharepoint admin central v3. However, I don't seem to be able
to. Can someone give me the steps on how to get this working again.
