In addition... that link is not supported by microsoft.
Also, POP3 connector in Microsoft is frought with problems. It was designed as a temporary measure whilst testing or SMTP is being implemented. Just search this NG ( not newsreader version i.e OE or WM but web version, newsreader only hold a few months)
Lost emails, also it doesn't support BCC. If you implement IMF then this doesn't work using POP3.
From a security issue you are sending username and password as clear textover the internet... is this not comprimising your company data ?
All business email should be SMTP.
If you need to stay on pop3 (some ISP dont support so you should change ISP) then popbeamer or GFImailessentials are recommended. Dont forget about clear text though.

Thanks.
I found the following instructions at
http://www.serverforumz.com/POP3-connector-make-check-frequently-15-minutes-ftopict46337.html
but haven't tried them out:
1. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SmallBusinessServer\Network\POP3
Connector"
2. On the "Edit" menu, point to "New", and then click "DWORD Value".
3. Type "ScheduleAccelerator" (without the quotation marks) as the entry
name, and then press ENTER.
5. On the "Edit" menu, click "Modify".
6. In the "Value data" box, type the value that you want, and then click
"OK". To determine the polling interval, the value that is configured on the
"Scheduling" tab in the GUI is divided by the value that you type for the
ScheduleAccelerator entry. For example, if a 15 minute interval is specified
in the GUI and you set the value of the ScheduleAccelerator entry to 3, the
connector will poll ever five minutes.
7. Quit Registry Editor
PS: it took me about 60 seconds to find this info using google, maybe you
should try it sometime.
