RE: Roaming profile eluding me!

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi zach,

Thanks for posting here.

From the description, I understand the issue is that you can not make the
roaming profiles work only on his specific machine. If I am off base,
please don't hesitate to let me know.

Let us refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1.Clear the local cached credentials.

cached credential will be used when you access network resources. To
isolate the possible influence of that, clear the local cached credential.
Please refer to the link below for instruction:

Windows XP

2.Logon as a local admin and delete the problematic local user profile on
the problematic computer.

3.Disjoin and rejoin the problematic computer from domain.

if issue persists, because this is a pure client side issue, please post
this question in the

public XP newsgroup. we recommend posting appropriately so you will get the
most qualified pool of respondents, and so other partners who regularly
read the newsgroups can either share their knowledge or learn from your
interaction with us.

I appreciate your time. I am happy to be of assistance and look forward to
your reply.

Have a nice day!
