It is unfortunate that you do not understand that this is an SBS problem.
The default instance of SQL 2005 is working fine. It is the SHAREPOINT
instance that has the problem. I cannot extend or upgrade a virtural server,
the SBS Sharepoint Central Administration has the same type error (601).
This problem occured when the Small Business Server 2003R2 at the SR1 level
was upgraded to SR2. We kinow there have been other problems with the SR2
upgrade, some solved and others in limbo. This problem never occured before
the SR2 upgrade for SBS.
However I will solve this on my own and I thank youi for reply. I do not
expect any more communication on this issue. This issue is closed.
Thank you,
Hal

Hi,.
Thanks for updating.
Please understanding our newsgroup is mainly focused on SBS support.
Although SQL server is installed on SBS, if SQL server has problem, for
example, the manage console cannot be open, the service cannot be started,
that's recommended to open a new post in microsft.public.sqlserver
newsgroup. Thanks for your understanding.
If you need further assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know.
