Hi Jeffrey,

Maybe these will help...

Sophos Anti-Virus SBE: how to uninstall Sophos Anti-Virus Small Business

How can I configure Forms-Based Authentication in Exchange Server 2003 OWA

Installing Exchange 2003 SP2
(IMF Problems; about 1/2 of the way down the page, see "Problems you may
Encounter")

If these fix the problems, maybe then re-run CEICW.

I'm having a terrible issue with my SBS (2003 R2 Premium, but not using
ISA),
and specfically OWA/Exchagne - and am wondering if anyone has any
suggestions?

Here's what happened--short version!--Installed and later removed Sophos
SBE
Suite. After uninstall, everything seemed OK, but a user reported
receiving a
"page not found" when trying to access OWA.

I tried to use CEICW to fix, but rerunning it didn't help.

I then followed followed MS Article 883380 to delete and recreate the OWA
virtual directories. This allowed access to OWA, but only via the pop-up
login box, not the normal form-based authentication page. (Even though the
option was selected in the Exchange System Manager).

After this I reran CEICW; however, this caused OWA to completely break
again.

I then decided to restore the files in the OWA virtual directories from
last
night's backup--this didn't help either.

I then followed MS instructions to reinstall Exchange with SBS 2003 SP1
already applied (http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=594992):

1- Run setup /reinstall from SBS CD2
2- Reinstalled exchange
3-Tried to install Exchange 2003 SP2 (However, I keep getting a message
about newer Intelligent Message Filters that need to be removed. I have
removed all of these in add/remove programs; however, it still keeps
giving
me that message--so was unable to reinstall SP2) 4-Reinstalled SBS 2003
SP1.
5-Reran CEICW

At this point, OWA is no longer working--page cannot be found. After this
I
followed the MS KB above and once again recreated OWA folders. And, I'm
back
it it working, but only with the pop-up authentication, and of course I
coudln't reinstall Exchange SP2 as mentioned above.

Any help would greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!
