yes, move to a valid config.

Expected Behavior of Multiple Adapters on Same Network
If you configure a Windows-based computer that has more than one network
adapter on the same physical network and subnet, you may experience
unexpected results. This article discusses expected behavior of this type of
nonstandard configuration.
----------
I appreciate that you are attempting to have them on 'different' networks by
plugging into separate switches but it's not going to work. Inspection of
the routing table shows why.
The most amazing thing about people doing this is the number who, for some
period of time, believe it is working correctly.
The only viable solution is using equipment capable of adapter teaming,
in which case SBS sees it as a single internal NIC and depending on
implementation splits traffic as defined by the driver.
OR, you can break the SBS wizards and maintain different cards in different
subets, use DNS to maintain different names so that \\SBSNormal\sharename
and \\SBSFast\sharename are accessed differently, meaning workstation
configs are special...

and the limits have more to do with ethernet and/or IP than anything else

The separate NIC adapters will go to separate switches/hubs, one is a
1Gbit and the other a 10/100 Mbit. I had one NIC set to 10.0.0.2 and the
other to 10.0.0.3 both with the same subnet mask. The large file sizes
are only transfered thru the NIC with the 1 Gbit switch. The problem is
that the clients are only able to see the SBS if they connect thru the NIC
which has the same IP as the DNS server and DHCP server.
Any thoughts on how to fix it?

not really that much of a big deal, no windows server, and I'm pretty
sure no other server, is going to control file access such that large
files go through one NIC and small ones through another.
Multiple NICs in a single subnet, we know the problems there.
Multiple internal subnets?

The SBS wizards were designed for a maximum of two NICs in the server.
While you can add additional NICs, some of the wizards will not function
properly.

I currently have SBS2003 standard with two NIC setup, one for internal
network and one to internet. I would like to add an additional 1Gbit
NIC on the internal side with jumbo frames enabled to handle large file
sizes (500 - 800MB, etc.). Can I do this with SBS and if so, what do I
need to modify?
Thanks,
Mark
