Hi Terence Liu
Thanx for the Info. You have understood my Problem Correctly . But the
server dosent allow more than 4 users to login at a time . earlier (Lastweek
) when i installed the server it was allowing all the TEN users to login .
now it allows only 4 .
How to see weather i have installed Per Device or Per user License ?

Hello Swami,.
Thank you for posting here. And thanks for Anna's inputs.
According to your description, I understand that you get message "Installed
License: 10 Max available: 4" on your SBS after you install a 5 user CAL
pack. If I have misunderstood the problem, please don't hesitate to let me
know.
Based on my research, it is normal.
When you buy the SBS 2003, by default, it will come with 5 CALs. After you
install a 5 user CAL pack, the total CAL is 10. So the "Installed License:
10" is correct.
The message "Max available: 4" means you have already used 6 CALs, 4 remain.
Note: With user CALs, you acquire a CAL for individuals who are given named
access to your server. Licensed users can access the server from any
device. User CALs might make the most sense for an organization that has
many roaming employees who need access to the corporate network from mobile
devices or employees who use multiple devices to access the network. You
can reallocate a user CAL if a reassignment is permanent. You can also
temporarily reassign a user CAL if the user is on leave or the device is
disabled.

Hope these steps will give you some help.
Thanks and have a nice day!
