RE: SBS2003 Exchange 2003 SP2 OMA Not Functioning

Hi jon,

Thanks for posting here.

From the description, I understand the issue is that OMA can not work and
you get error message. If I am off base, please don't hesitate to let me
know.

Let us refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1.check the IIS Default Web Site Properties -> Home Directory -> Local
Path.
Don't add any "\" character at the end of the directory. IIS will
automatically add one thus cause problem if you manually add one before

2.Uninstalled/reinstalled asp.net using

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322>aspnet_regiis.exe -ua

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322>aspnet_regiis.exe -ir -enable

check the issue again

3.check the asp.net tab in default web site of IIS manager, make sure
ASP.NET version 1.1.4322,check the asp.net tab in OMA virtual
directory,make sure ASP.NET version 1.1.4322

4.Tried to install .netframework 1.1 sp1

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=A8F5
654F-088E-40B2-BBDB-A83353618B38

5.run iisreset

6.In addition,Please Add ASPNET user account with write permissions to this
folder.C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys

Navigate to the folder
C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET
Files.Right-click "Temporary ASP.NET Files" folder, select Properties, then
Select the Permissions tab.Add ASPNET user account with write permissions
to this folder.

furthermore, please refer to the following KB,to see if it helps

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823379/en-us

If the issue persists, please help me collect the following information for
analysis:

Does this happen on all clients? please access OMA on server, what's the
result?

I appreciate your time. I am happy to be of assistance and look forward to
your reply.

Have a nice day!
