DHCP updates to DNS question

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

For SBS 2003 SP2 and regarding an unwanted Reverse Lookup Zone record in
DNS:

With DHCP "server properties" I have used the DNS tab to:
Enable DNS dynamic updates according to the settings below:
Always dynamically update DNS A and PTR records
and
Discard A and PTR records when lease is deleted
and
Dynamically update DNS A and PTR records for DHCP clients that do not
request updates.

When an employee left the company with his laptop I see that his DHCP
record eventually disappeared. I also see when running the DNS plugin
that his DNS records have disappeared from the Forward Lookup Zone.

I'm presuming that my DHCP settings have correctly deleted Forward
Lookup Zone record.

I ALSO see that his last IP address is still listed in the Reverse
Lookup Zone. I'm thinking that ONLY DNS scavenging properties will
remove that Reverse record. Am I thinking right? Do I need to enable
scavenging?
